𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦

For two days, I've sensed that 'still small voice' whisper to me concerning DISTRACTIONS -- not just TO me, but I feel an unction to address it publicly.

In all of human history, no other generation has been plagued by unlimited barrages of "DISTRACTIONS" like THIS current generation.

We all have a superfluous flood of dings, rings, beeps or some type of alert from notifications. Friends, family, social media, weather, news, banks, etc are calling for our ATTENTION throughout the day. I'm not saying those things are not important, but SMART DEVICES can tend to create disabled users by distracting us from the things that REALLY MATTER in life.

It's difficult to PRAY while distracted.

It's difficult to WORSHIP wile distracted.

It's difficult to READ and MEDITATE on the Word of God while distracted.

It's difficult to HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD while distracted.

The level at which we can be distracted speaks volumes about our MATURITY and PERSONAL DISCIPLINE.

All of these distractions are seeking to INFORM us. Beware of the devil's subtle tactics to rob us of God-moments because those INTIMATE times with God will TRANSFORM us. To the devil, that is very dangerous territory.

I am NOT saying THROW AWAY your smart devices. I am simply reminding people to be a BIGGER PERSON than being controlled by a touch screen.
